Sofia born in 1969, Kaloyan Vodenicharov (Kala to his many friends) started his stunt career at an early age thanks to his uncle, Dimitar Kehayov, one of Bulgaria’s pioneer stuntmen.
  In his teens, Kala studied judo and sambo before completing his military service, when he continued his education at the National Sports Academy Sofia in martial arts and equestrian sports.
  Following his graduation, Kala joined the stunt team at Boyana Studios in Sofia and gained valuable experience in all facets of stunts including specialized horse work, various fight techniques and driving.
   Over the years, Kala has gained vast experience and is now recognized as one of the most accomplished “all round” stunt performer and coordinator in Bulgaria.
  His work now takes him to the far corners of the globe and he has worked alongside many of the world’s top Stunt Coordinators and performers in addition to “doubling” many “A list” players.
   
  Kaloyan Vodenicharov is co-founder of ALPHA STUNT TEAM Bulgaria – a team of excellent, highly skilled stunt performers. Kala is fluent in English, Russian, Serbian and also Italian.
